Gem Stone Bug Cages are one of a kind organic gemstone cages/ jewelry pieces by Me (Kaylee Aziza Floyd), made by hand with diverse materials, ranging from various beads, wire, and gemstones. Each cage has a unique made to order design, inspired by various insects (and the occasional animal life) with a specific stone wrapped inside the body of said insect (or animal). Each piece has a look that may vary based on the supply and diversity of materials. As each cage is unique, though it may follow the same design format, the beads and wire may be different for each one of a kind bug cage.

How It Started:

As a lover and collecter of different rocks and gemstones, I just wanted new and creative was to wear my gemstones. And as an artist, I figured: "Why not create my own cages?" So here I am sharing them with you :)
